Welcome to the Serbian Healthcare Environment Forum. The forum has been established as a focal point for the communication of activities performed and initiatives undertaken by the EU Funded Technical Assistance for Healthcare Waste Management project here in Serbia.

It is an information and education tool for all healthcare professionals. In particular the site is aimed at those who have, or will have, a responsibility for the management of healthcare waste in healthcare institutions both from the state and private sector.

The site has several areas and information will be regularly posted in each of these areas. In addition there is a web based forum where healthcare professionals can interact with project team members and each other to discuss pertinent issues to them and their institutions.

The key areas of interest being healthcare waste management and the broader environmental implications including aspects of infection control.

This site is a project initiative supported by the Ministry of Health and the European Agency for Reconstruction and its successor the EC Delegation.
